Who We Are
RATivity is what happens when the lab rats decide to run the experiment themselves.
We’re CMT patients, families, and allies who got tired of waiting —
So we built the noise, the community, and the funding machine CMT never had.
I Am Me
I could have been you, but I got a surprise in my gene pool.
Maybe it was noticeable right away when I was learning how to walk, maybe when I kept tripping - losing my balance as I got older, or maybe when I had chemo, and it triggered that mutant gene to shut off my nerves from connecting.
But here we are, still managing to smile and sharing our hope for a treatment!

What Is CMT?
Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease is one of the most common inherited nerve disorders on earth. It's also one of the least talked about.
CMT progressively damages the nerves that carry signals between your brain and your body. Muscles in the feet, legs, and hands lose strength. Sensation fades. Balance becomes a daily negotiation.
It never fully lets go.
Over 100 genes can cause it. Zero FDA-approved treatments exist for it. And 2.6 million people worldwide are living with it — hiding in plain sight.
That's where the rats come in.
2.6 Million People. You've Probably Never Heard of Them.
